2012 North American International Auto Show

It has been a long time since we have been at the North American International Auto Show. Felt really good to be back. The floor was buzzing with hype of both interesting concept cars and upcoming production vehicles.

With 27 unveilings the show floor was active with members of the press hustling to cover everything from the new Acura NSX concept to the Volkswagen e-Bugster.

The one thing that struck me odd was to find Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce not come out to play this year – both a surprise and a disappointment.

We are at an age where fuel is now the primary item on one’s list when purchasing a new vehicle. With that being said Pure Michigan, Michigan’s Official Travel and Tourism Site sponsored and operated an indoor track in the lower level of the show where members of the press test drove a variety of Electric, Hybrid and even a Fuel Cell vehicle.
The 2012 NAIAS is open to the public from January the 14th to the 22nd. Make sure to check out our photo gallery.
